This post is a new start. The words below come from my first Linkedin pulse post of 2014. Another start. An echo. I am refocusing my writing here on the website. An end and a beginning.

There is plenty of good advice out there to start with a small, easy step. Read James Clear's Why Getting Started is More Important Than Succeeding. An easy start sets the ball rolling - momentum. Once started, you must choose to stop.
Many good intentions will not be realised this week. How many meetings, workshops, off-sites, conferences, and conventions concluded in the first week of June? How many person-hours did they consume? How much excitement, inspiration, compassion, commitment, motivation, visioning, brainstorming, imagineering, and creativity did they generate? How many resolutions, visions, goals, plans, manifestos, charters, programs and projects have been committed to in good faith? How much of all that effort will convert into value? How much of the collateral will be taken off the shelves and read again? How many forums, conference calls, LinkedIn groups, mailing lists, or communities of interest will go unjoined? How many goodbye hugs will be honored?
I have done them all. Last week, I joined another meeting and made another commitment to act. One small, easy step is taken - momentum.
The beginning is half of the whole.
