Executive Coaching
Singapore-based executive coaching with a global perspective
I am a Singapore-based executive coach, leadership educator and former senior HR leader with 35 years of leadership experience in Asia. I work with senior leaders, executives, managers, business owners and ambitious professionals in Singapore and internationally.
My coaching draws on practical leadership experience, organisational behaviour, psychology, career strategy and an understanding of how authority, reputation and influence operate in complex organisations.
Practical executive coaching for senior leaders, executives and ambitious professionals navigating real organisational complexity
I provide executive coaching for senior leaders, executives, managers, business owners and ambitious professionals who want to improve their leadership effectiveness, judgement, influence, confidence and performance in complex professional situations.
Clients usually come to coaching when something important is changing. They may be stepping into a larger role, managing more senior stakeholders, preparing for promotion, navigating a first 90 days challenge, rebuilding confidence after a difficult period, or realising that the behaviours that made them successful so far are no longer enough for the next level.
Executive coaching is not about giving generic leadership advice. It is a structured thinking partnership focused on the real situations where your leadership is tested: decisions, conversations, meetings, relationships, transitions, conflict, visibility, accountability and pressure.
The aim is simple: to help you think more clearly, act more deliberately and lead with greater impact where it matters.
My coaching style
Capability alone is not always the whole problem. In complex roles, the real constraint may be an assumption, a relationship, an informal expectation, an unspoken political dynamic or a behaviour that no longer produces the evidence others need to see.
Executive coaching creates a confidential space to think clearly, test assumptions, understand the system around you, and practise the behaviours that matter where performance is actually judged.
I may challenge the client’s assumptions, help them rehearse a different behaviour, clarify the story they are telling themselves, map the stakeholder system or identify what needs to become visible to others. The work often asks:
- What is really happening here?
- What are others likely concluding?
- What does the role or market now require?
- Where is the actual constraint?
- What are you avoiding?
- What behaviour would create better evidence?
- What conversation needs to happen next?
- What would a more senior version of you do here?
The coaching relationship is confidential, candid and practical. The aim is not simply to feel better after the conversation. The aim is to become more effective in the situations that matter.
